SPRING TABLESCAPE - THE FIRST FLOWER OF SPRING

Hello Spring! I'm joining a group of talented woman hosted by Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate for a Spring Tablescape Blog Hop.We are pairing up with 25 other bloggers and I hope that you will check all the links below. If you are a first time visitor,a special hello!

Spring is officially here and I'm happy to be sharing this Pastel tablescape with you today.

I began with a pale yellow table cloth and a woven rattan chargers, topped with pastel pink scalloped dinner plates.I love to use my DIY twin napkin rings to add more naturally touch to the table.

The centerpiece gracing the table is a bouquet of silk roses combined with fresh greenery . Imagine how wonderful this would be with fresh roses....

Snowdrops are said to be the first flowers of Spring. So in the spirit of Spring I decided to dress up four baby food jars with snowdrops, bits of lace and a twin.I like the idea of using my baby food jars and filling them with flowers. My Snowdrops are in full bloom and they are just as cheery as can be....

I enjoyed sharing my spring tablescape with you today.I hope you all have a lovely spring and will be inspired to host a spring dinner.

Thanks so much for stopping by ! I always love the comments you leave behind! Please continue the Blog Hop with bloggers listed below.

BABY FOOD JAR - SPRING PARTY FAVORS

I was thrilled to organize a Ladies Spring Brunch for some of my favorite cousins and friends.First and foremost ,the beautiful thing at this gathering were all the smiles!
Hosting the ladies for a leisure brunch is such a special way to share time with your cousins and friends and it was a joyful gathering!

As a "Thanks for stopping by" gifts I  prepared DIY baby food jars.I always love being crafty so this is the perfect idea to help save money and be unique.I had a lot of baby food jars left over so I decided to use them.

HOW TO MAKE SPRING BABY JAR FAVORS

1.Remove the labels and clean out the baby food jars.Let them completely dry.
2.Take off every baby jar lid and spread them out facing down over a sheet.
3.I'v chosen metallic gold spray color.
4.Pink ribbon (or different color)
5.Twine or other type of stiff yarn
6.Put inside  Pack of pocket tissues or another mini travel kit
7. The Lips crayon didn't fit at the jar so I tied up with twine.

EVERY WOMEN SHOULD KNOW...

Things Every Woman Should Have And Should KnowBy Pamela Redmond Satran
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or needs to…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
a youth she’s content to leave behind…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
a past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to retelling it in her old age…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
one friend who always makes her laugh…
and one who lets her cry…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE…
a feeling of control over her destiny…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
how to fall in love without losing herself…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
when to try harder…
and when to walk away…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
that she can’t change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
that her childhood may not have been perfect…
but it’s over…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
what she would and wouldn’t do for love or more…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
how to live alone…
even if she doesn’t like it…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
whom she can trust, whom she can’t, and why she shouldn’t take it personally…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
where to go…
be it to her best friend’s kitchen table…
or a charming inn in the woods…
when her soul needs soothing…
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW…
what she can and can’t accomplish in a day…
a month…
and a year…
In 1997 Pamela Redmond Satran wrote a list for Glamour Magazine.Having already passed her thirtieth birthday, her goal was to tell younger women about " the things I really wished I'd had and known by that important milestone" It not only resonated, it became a phenomenon.
I ran across this poem on internet and thought it was worth sharing on this International Women's Day.
Often we have spent so much time taking care of our children/others that we forgot to think about ourselves.Remember to take care of yourself!

MOTHER'S DAY SIMPLE PURPLE TABLESCAPE

Mother's Day is a special day to celebrate our Mother's and all mother figures in our lives and also to celebrate being a mom..Every mother want's to feel extra loved on this special day.Caring for the family all year long, our Moms deserve the expression of our love.Going out is not a bed idea, but hosting a simple lunch at home for our mamas will make them fell extra special. So consider to make a surprise lunch or brunch for the special mamas in your life. To run it successfully you should start by thinking about the table decoration. To help inspire your Mother's Day lunch I present you a wonderful idea for your table decoration. To really impress your mom check it out.

\

When we think of the decoration of a dining table, the first thing that comes to our mind is the centerpiece of the table because it's the most important element that catches our eyes first. So when we think of mother's day the first thing that comes to our mind is FLOWERS.What could express the love of our mothers better than flowers? So it's a good idea to combine many kinds of flowers that you have.

As the main color of this table decor I chose purple because is the most feminine and glamorous color for this occasion. The centerpiece flowers are combination of pink white and purple. It was hard to find purple flowers at this season....so... there ,might be a small secret with those roses.

Even though they look amazingly real, these roses are faux.Only the greenery is fresh. You can find them at AliExpress for an everlasting arrangement or you can create this look with a dozen fresh roses as well.

Each place is set with a silver charger, black edged plate and a little purple pom pom tissue paper flower on top.I love to put something crafty on my tables.Always top off a place setting with an interesting decor.

Mother's Day is one of my favorite occasions, and I take this day to give thanks to the strength and unconditional live that mothers have.
Becoming a mom was just the most incredible thing ever and is truly the best job in the world.
